This Privacy Policy explains how [OPERATOR NAME] (“PepCalculators,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with pepcalculators.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to this policy and to our Terms of Use.

The short version

• The calculators are free and there are no accounts.
• After you use a calculator for a moment, we ask for your email address to keep using it. If you send us a request, you may also choose to include your name and email so we can reply.
• The calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type in are not sent to us and are not stored by us.
• We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics.
• We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

1. Information we collect

Calculator inputs

Values you enter into a calculator, and the results shown, are processed locally in your browser. They are not transmitted to our servers and are cleared when you leave or reload the page.

Your email address

When you enter your email address to keep using the calculators, we collect that address along with the date and the fact that you signed up on PepCalculators. We use it to send you occasional emails about PepCalculators and offers from our partners, as described below. Every marketing email includes a link to unsubscribe, and you can also unsubscribe by emailing us.

Requests you submit

When you use our Submit a Request page, we collect the type of request, your message, and, if you choose to provide them, your name and email address. We use this to review suggestions, fix problems, improve the Site, and reply to you. We do not add an email address you give only on that page to our mailing list. Please do not include health information or other sensitive personal information in a request.

Technical information collected automatically

Like nearly every website, when your browser requests a page from the Site, our hosting provider automatically receives standard technical information, including your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time of the request. This information is recorded in server and security logs that are used to deliver the Site, keep it secure, and diagnose problems.

Information you choose to send us

If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and anything you attach. Please do not send health information or other sensitive personal information by email.

2. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site does not set cookies for advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary technologies to deliver the Site securely. After you enter your email, the Site saves a small note in your browser’s local storage so you are not asked again on that device. If your email could not be sent right away, it is also kept there until it is delivered on your next visit. This information stays on your device, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings. If we add analytics or other tools that use cookies in the future, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent. Because we do not track you across sites, we treat Global Privacy Control and “Do Not Track” signals as satisfied by default.

3. How we use information

We use the limited information described above to:

• host, operate, and deliver the Site;
• protect the Site against abuse, fraud, and security threats;
• diagnose technical problems and improve reliability;
• send you emails about PepCalculators, and offers from our partners, including Celnetic, if you have given us your email address;
• review and respond to requests and messages you send us; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

4. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only:

• with service providers that act on our behalf, such as our website hosting provider (Vercel Inc.), our database provider (Supabase, Inc.), and our email provider, which may process information only to provide their services to us;
• with Celnetic LLC, an affiliated company that maintains our email list and may send you emails about its own products. Celnetic will honor your request to unsubscribe;
• when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or others; and
• in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, in which case this policy will continue to apply to the information transferred.

5. Data retention

Server and security logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period under its standard retention practices and are then deleted. We keep the email address you give us to use the calculators until you ask us to delete it. If you unsubscribe, we keep a record of that so we do not email you again. We keep requests and emails you send us for as long as they are useful for improving the Site and for reasonable record-keeping, and then delete them. Calculator inputs are never stored by us.

6. Security

The Site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, and we use reasonable measures to protect the limited information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including California and other U.S. states with consumer privacy laws, or the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you; to object to or restrict certain processing; to receive a copy of your information; and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because the Site does not use accounts and does not store calculator inputs, the personal information we hold about you is usually limited to your email address and any requests or emails you send us.

To make a request, email hello@pepcalculators.com. We may need to verify your request before acting on it, and you may use an authorized agent where the law allows. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Where the GDPR applies, we process information on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site, on your consent for marketing emails (which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing), to respond to your requests, and to comply with legal obligations.

8. Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International users

The Site is operated from the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose data protection laws may differ from those where you live.

10. Third-party links

The Site may link to websites we do not control. This policy does not apply to them; please review their privacy policies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above, and if the changes are significant we will make that clear on the Site.
